Bradley works at the John Hunter New England Emergency Department, Newcastle as an Emergency RN. He left construction to pursue his passion of healthcare which led him to study nursing at UTAS in Tasmania and joined the ADF through the Defence Scholarship Undergraduate Program. One of the most rewarding aspects of his role is the opportunity to connect with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Bradey truly values building relationships with his patients while delivering high-quality care tailored to their individual needs.

The most challenging part of his job is managing the demands of a high-stress environment, especially when caring for patients who are experiencing significant physical and emotional distress. ANZAC Day has always held deep significance for Bradley, especially because both of his parents have served in the military. Bradley says, “it’s a meaningful time to reflect on and honour those who have served and sacrificed their lives for our country, as well as those who continue to carry the physical and emotional scars of their service”. “What makes ANZAC Day even more special is the enduring legacy of the ANZAC spirit, carried on by today’s servicemen and women. Bradley feels incredibly privileged to serve in the Australian Defence Force and to represent the Rising Sun, honouring the values and traditions that ANZAC Day embodies
