Last year alone, the hospital admitted over 14,000 patients, including nearly 400 Koalas. Our mission is to treat, rehabilitate, and release sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife back into the wild.

Witness the hospital laundry's around-the-clock operation to ensure cleanliness and hygiene for our special patients. Experience veterinary demonstrations, including the use of pulse oximeters, flexible endoscopes, and X-ray machines.

  2. Cutting-Edge Wildlife Research: Learn about the latest research initiatives aimed at saving and protecting our native wildlife. Our hospital, conservation, research, and education teams will present world-leading projects such as the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Koala Chlamydia Vaccine program, Kroombit Tinker Frogs Breed to Release program, and Eastern Bristle Birds – birds without Borders program.

  3. Family Fun and Activities: Bring the whole family and enjoy a fun-filled day with games, activities, face painting, food stalls, raffles, and wandering wildlife. Meet the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Education team, explore pop-up stalls by Local Community Partners, and interact with the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Ambulance and Rescue Team, as well as the Wildcare wildlife rescue and carer crew.
